It was Sunday, and I made up my mind to do the "safai Abhiyan". While cleaning the Bath Room, I suddenly stopped. In the window of my Bath Room, a she-pigeon had laid eggs and was sitting over them. I thought not to disturb it and left the window as it was.

After a month or so, I tried to clean the window again. I had to stop again, as this time it was a sparrow, who was sitting on her eggs. Once again i thought not to disturb the bird.

It was again a Sunday, when I made up my mind to get the Bath Room cleaned. I was pleased to see that there was"t any bird in the window. The window was filled with lots of dry leaves, small pieces of dry branches, small stones, small grains of bricks and what else not. I put up a small ladder and combed up to clear the window thoroughly. Suddenly, I had to stop. I saw something shinning in the rays that were falling in the window. I picked it up and looked at it carefully.

                          My God,,,,,,,,   it was a diamond.

                         Yes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,a pure diamond.

Perhaps, the birds had paid the bills of the Maternity Home.
